Course Overview

Diploma program in Critical Care Technician has been designed to bridge the gap in critical care practices and develop technicians skilled in critical judgement. The program has a blended approach encompassing both theory and clinical aspects offered through online sessions, and on-the-job training. The program has been structured to provide progressive group learning among students enrolled through case studies, presentations and group work.

Learning Outcome

To learn the common medical emergencies such as - cardiovascular, respiratory neurological , miscellaneous emergencies and handle complex clinical problems emerging in the Critical care unit.
To learn the patient management in Critical care unit.

Evaluations and Grading

Evaluations will collate candidate performance based on Self Assessment, Term End Assessment, completion of Project Work , participation in Webinar , participation in student-faculty chat.
Grading will be done based on alphabetical grade point percentage.

Certification

At the end of the program the student will be awarded with Certification from Astron Institute of International Studies.
