Course Overview

The emergency medical technician (EMT) advanced course is designed to train healthcare professionals in advanced aspect of emergency and pre hospital care. Topics covered under this course are advanced airway management, advanced patient assessment, advanced trauma and medical intervention, advanced pharmacology and basic cardiology.

An EMT advanced students would be able to provide an advanced level of patient care after the completion of this course.

Evaluation and Grading

Evaluations will collate candidate performance based on Self Assessment, Term End Assessment, completion of Project Work , participation in Webinar , participation in student-faculty chat.
Grading will be done based on alphabetical grade point percentage.

Certification

At the end of the program the student will be awarded a Certification from Astron Institute of International Studies.
