Quick Bio : Director Professor, Deptt. of Community Medicine, MAM College. Delhi She has been in the field of Community Medicine since the last 30 years.
She has professional and research experience with National and International Organizations viz. WHO, UNFPA, Population Council and Rockfeller Foundation. She is an advisor to CBM for National & International Projects on disability. She has been involved in capacity building and research related to Geriatrics for over a decade. She has published and presented over 200 papers International and National peer reviewed journals and conferences. She was conferred fellowship of the Indian Public Health Association and Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine. She has been awarded a WHO Biennium Fellowship in 1992-93 and Fellowship by Overseas Development Agency in 1996, and CBM Fellowship in 2011. She has been conferred with the State Doctor’s Award for her meritorious services and also awarded State AIDS Award for contribution in the field of HIV/AIDS.
She has been investigator/co-investigator in several National and International research projects funded by various agencies such as UNFPA, DFID, Rockefeller Foundation, WHO, ICMR, Sanofi Pasteur. She has organized about 200 training programmes for prevention and control of HIV/AIDS, RTIs/STIs for doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, group D workers in Delhi in collaboration with Delhi State AIDS Control Society; six training programmes for call centre executives of Jansankhya Sthirta kosh (Min. of H & F W, Govt. of India). In addition she has also worked towards sensitization of Health care staff regarding Gender based violence and developed a tool for identification of violence. Her areas of interest are: Gerontology, Adolescent & Reproductive Health, Gender Based Issues, Non communicable diseases, HIV, Tuberculosis.
Quick Bio : Dr Archana Ramalingam is a Senior Resident in the department of Community Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training from JIPMER, an Institute of National Importance and was the recipient of the “Prof. R.K Kar Best Postgraduate in Community Medicine” award. She is an enthusiastic public health specialist with proven merit in conducting research, writing chapters and modules for books and training programs. In a short career span of 4 years, she has to her credit over 10 publications in National and International Journals.
She has co authored chapters for textbooks on Materials Management, Social Pediatrics and has written modules for courses conducted by NIHFW. She has been a resource person for various workshops on research methodology, including the Pre-Conference workshop conducted by the organizers for International Conference of Indian Society of Rational Pharmacotherapeutics; ISRPTCON 2014. She is a life member of the Indian Association of Preventive and Social Medicine and the Indian Association of Public health. She has presented research papers in various National and International conferences held in India and abroad. She is an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Medical Sciences and a peer reviewer for various journals. She has been a part of various research projects and is the principal investigator for a health education intervention project aimed at improving the practice of Breast Self Examination. Her areas of interest include Non Communicable diseases, Health promotion, Health financing and Medical education.
She has a keen interest in the field of Geriatrics from her postgraduate days and had submitted a dissertation titled “Medico-social conditions and Quality of Life of the elderly in rural Puducherry”. She was also the recipient of the “NIMS Gold Medal-Best Paper Award” at the XII Annual National Conference of the Indian Academy of Geriatrics, GERICON 2014, held at Bangalore, where she had presented the findings of her dissertation.

Quick Bio : Dr. Khan, a well-known authority in conducting qualitative research in the country has led various research projects. Principal investigator has conducted research and evaluation on HIV/AIDS thematic areas for DSACS, DFID, Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative, HIV/AIDS Alliance.
Has been Coordinator of Health system research (Operation Research) for WHO for 10years and Head Operation Research at National Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India.
Has successfully conducted Operation research for various healthcare projects on â€œIdentifying barriers to sustainable access of children to ART Centres and seeking solutions to address barriersâ€ for India HIV/AIDS Alliance under Global Fund Round IV, â€œDevelopment of social and cultural behavioural change communication package in the health programâ€, â€œCommunity mobilization in strengthening the existing heath care services under HSR projectâ€, â€œBehaviour modification of delinquent children living in Balsahyog Organizationâ€, Baseline Assessment on the Existing scenario of PPTCT services in 4 states for Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative, KABP Survey of Delhi Police Personnel on HIV/AIDS for Delhi State AIDS Control Society, Mid Line and End Line Evaluation of Project Sankalp on HIV/AIDS and RCH in 16 districts in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, Data Verification of Routine MIS of ICDS services of Department of Women and Child Development in MP for DFID and Government of Madhya Pradesh, Gap Analysis of RMNCH+A in 33 districts in 6 states for USAID- MCHIP and Research study on efficacy of BCC training for ASHA and SHG for World vision in the area of Malnutrition on a concept called â€œFood behaviour and demonstrated significance improvement in the nutritional status within 12 daysâ€.
Dr Khan has been instrumental in developingâ€ Training on BCCâ€ for officials working with persons living with HIV AIDS and Developing Program policies at National and International level, Program Design, Project planning, Capacity building on RCH, behavioural sciences and HIV/AIDS. Dr Khan has published more than 100 papers in book and national and international journals and books.
Quick Bio : Dr. Bhola Nath did his graduation and post graduation (MD in Social and Preventive Medicine/Community Medicine) from King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. He also passed Diplomate National Board exam (DNB) in Community Medicine thus conferring him a DNB degree in the year 2013. Besides these, he has completed several other courses like Post graduate Diploma in Hospital and health Care Administration, Diploma in Financial Management.
Expert on infectious diseases, chronic diseases, vaccination, research, especially on various study designs, literature search and data analysis. He has authored 30 national and international publications in various peer reviewed journals.
He is presently working as Editor-in-chief in Indian Journal of Forensic and Community Medicine and Journal of Preventive Medicine and Holistic health. He is also the author of a book entitled “Essentials of Immunization”.
He is actively involved in various research projects and had completed some important research projects like Evaluation of Village Heath and Nutrition Day, TB-HIV collaborative activities etc.
