He has to his credit , the conceptualization, establishment and management of many prestigious multi specialty and single specialty tertiary care hospitals in the country. As former Chairman, Accreditation Committee for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities and as present Chairman of Healthcare Committee on National Board for Quality Promotion, he is pioneering the quality revolution in healthcare management and delivery in the country. He has also been the chairman of National Task Force to establish healthcare accreditation mechanism in India & presently serves as a Board Member of NABH and a member of Advisory Council of JCI. He is a visiting faculty with health care management institutes in India, Oslo (Norway) and Abu Dhabi and winner of many national awards.
